  2. Hi Cliff,
    I would like a Calendar.
    It should fill the screen.
It should be be running in the Sys Tray.
A single left click(of sys tray icon) should show it, and hide it.
Only one month should show, and the PageUp and PageDown keys should navigate to the next month.
Click in any day's box, and you are presented with a multiline text box, to type Note.
When the note is saved (exited the editor), only the left portion of the first line is visible.
Thus it is possible to have a few notes for any day.
Click a Note to edit it.
Click a blank space to add a new note.
I keep meaning to write such a program (in VB6), but have not gotten around to it yet.
    Regards,
    Rob

  3. Mornin' Clif,

I love the new look, but I'd lose the center column -- wastes a lot of real estate. It also means you can't expand the font in the main column without going out of the frame. Try it in Fx.

  4. Clif,

Disregard. Now it works. Must have been a glitch in the local program.

    @VoxPop: Here are a few good Anti-Spam tools - Snapfiles Freeware Anti-Spam

@RobC: I can definitely recommend UK's Kalendar as a good fit for your requests. You can find it and many others at SnapFiles Freeware.

  8. Clif,

I'm looking for a good FREE undelete software. I've tried a few different ones that are OK, but I still haven't found that perfect piece of shareware for this purpose.

(I'll take your recommendation on purchased software as well, but being a cheapskate, I prefer not to pay!)

  9. Hi Anonymous. I can only recommend freebies. I never even try the payware.

    Try at Gizmo's place first.

    Then maybe at Snapfiles.

    Thanks for asking.

  10. Hey, do you know of any free voice-disguising software that can be used with Skype and other voice chats?

  11. Hi Anonymous,

No, I've never run across one of those. However, a quick search did reveal that you aren't the first to ask about that.

  15. What do you mean by dead?

    Clif

  16. Clif, I think that "Anonymous" means by dead is that there's been no new content since August.

    What gives?

  20. Hey Cliff,

    Love your blog, man!

I am looking for a free ISO file extractor - I want to bypass the disc burn process

    Thanks!

  21. Zia,
I use TUGZip, works with iso, img, etc. Along with just about every archive out there.

  22. I use Virtual Clone Drive ( http://bit.ly/779uk6 ) for ISO files. The advantage is that it mounts the ISO so that it looks just like a CD-Rom on your system. You can grab files, run it like a CD if it's a game - anything you can do with a CD.
